This week we’re going to a band night on Friday.
So don’t come to the normal church hall!
We’re joining with a bunch of other youthgroups from around the area at the Roseville Presbyterian church, on Lord Street in Roseville.
It will be a pretty fun night – there’s a band called Elisha playing, plus 3 other bands from the youthgoups we’re joining. Should be good stuff.
Given that there’s a whole bunch of people coming, we don’t have enough cars/drivers to transport you all, so you’ll need to get dropped off there and picked up afterwards. It’s 7pm-9.30pm, so a little longer than usual.
If getting there is a real problem for you, let us know and we’ll sort something out.
So – Refuel. It’s even named after us. Should be our night.

There is one t-shirt left over from the fete that wasn’t bought. It’s black, size S, and has the incredibly funky FWL logo on it.
If you missed out and want to buy it ($7 – cheap at twice the price), let me know (contact form at the top of this page if you don’t know my email). Priority goes to someone who was actually at the fete, but otherwise first in best dressed (literally).

Thinking about ice skating, here’s a picture of the best ice skating experience I’ve ever had (until this coming friday, of course). In Stockholm during the winter they set up a rink in the main plaza – kind of like putting a rink in Hyde Park in Sydney. Obviously it’s cold enough there that the ice doesn’t melt, and you can hire skates and go for a spin… outside! It was awesome.

On June the 1st we’re going ice skating at Macquarie Ice rink. We’re going to be meeting there, so make sure you don’t come along to church like normal! It’s 6.45 to 9.30pm, and we’ll grab some maccas after skating.
You can download a permission form, which you need to bring with you (so that we know your parents are fine with you being there).
Excellent. If you’ve got wood floors at home, feel free to practice your moves (wearing socks, of course) before you get there. I will be.

If you’ve been here before, you’ve probably noticed that things look different.
I had to change the theme of the site (hence no 4 funky columns anymore) as one of the limitations of the old design was that you couldn’t see who wrote the post. With more and more of you signing up to be authors, that could become confusing pretty quickly.
Now, just under the title you can see who wrote the post. Easy!
I’m trying to get back all the stuff we had in the last design, including the cool flames logo. Hopefully by the time anyone reads this post it will look as fwl-like as possible.
